We had an action-packed couple of days out on the water at Lake Texoma with Louie's Lures Guide Service. Though we didn't manage to land any big prize, we still had a great time out on the water, enjoying the scenery and good company.

The forecast called for some unsettled weather, with clouds rolling in and a chance of rain later in the day. But we hit the water early, around 6 AM, ready to put in some work and see what we could find. As we motored out of Alberta Creek Resort & Marina, the lake was calm and the skies were clear—perfect conditions to get the lines in and start hunting for some fish.

We tried a mix of jigging and trolling, working different depths and cover to find the active fish. The bass and crappie were a little finicky, but we kept at it, working the water methodically. Nick and the rest of the crew stayed positive, joking around and just having a good time even when the fish weren't cooperating. That's what it's all about—getting out on the water, breathing in that fresh air, and making some great memories, whether the fish are biting or not.
