Reeling in Stripers on Lake Texoma with Louie's Lures Guide

We had a great afternoon of fishing out on Lake Texoma with Jacyn and the crew from Louie's Lures Guide Service. May is a fantastic time to hit the lake, as the Striped Bass and other gamefish become more active in the warming waters.

The weather was a mixed bag, with partly cloudy skies and the potential for some strong storms, but we managed to time it just right and avoided any major downpours. The water conditions were excellent, perfect for targeting those elusive Striped Bass. As soon as we got the boat in the water and the lines out, the action started heating up.

We worked the lake using a combination of jigging and trolling, covering different depths to find where the fish were stacked up. It didn't take long before Jacyn hooked into a nice Striped Bass, putting up a solid fight before we got it in the boat. We kept at it, and over the course of the afternoon, managed to land a few more quality Striped Bass. This little guy stuck it out with us the whole trip, and we had a blast reeling them in together.
